Kobian, makers of the Mercury inverter brand, have kept up their innovative drive with continuing R&D to develop inverters that serve the direct needs of the consuming public, especially in a way that keeps costs low.

That is thrust of the new Mercury MC Series Inverter, which is a Pure Sine Wave Inverter, designed by the manufacturer to be capable of being connected to various loads such as inductive load (air conditioners, refrigerator), motors (vacuum cleaners), and rectifier load (computer). That means more versatility, allowing for more flexibility of use. As Kobian says, all MC series are designed to work with heavy load conditions.

But that's not all that's unique about this new Mercury inverter model. This MC 3024E model is a 3kva/24V pure sine wave inverter unit. That means that it requires just a minimum of two 12V batteries to power it. Most competing brands have this capacity as 48VDC. With the MC 3024E, its easier to take off on a 3kva capacity pure sine wave inverter. When the need arises, additional batteries can be added down the line, helping to spread the cost. In effect, you get a flexible design that allows you start with fewer batteries, but with enough capacity for higher load which you can add subsequently when you add more batteries.
