The official datasheet shows that, at full capacity, the Bluegate 1750VA will provide about 15 minutes backup, while at half its capacity, it can deliver some 30 minutes. Realising that UPS of this nature is basically for short backup to enable you transit to alternative power source or to carefully tidy up and safe your documents and shut down (if on a computing device), the available backup from the 1750VA UPS is obviously ample time to do any of those. And if your load is less than 50% capacity, you are also expecting to get even beyond 30 minutes backup, which is cool. When longer backup is required, the inverter backup option is, of course, the right way to go.
